Introducing the newest semi professional DVD player from Pioneer, the DVD-V5000. Designed for easy integration into new or existing DVD-driven applications, this machine is perfect for point-of-information (POI) kiosk, training, education or corporate use.( for light semi professional use)

The slim, lightweight and compact design can be rack mounted and is equipped with features like: RS-232C control, frame accurate search and NTSC/PAL playback to name a few.

SDI Output The SDI upgrade offers an affordable way of adding a SMPTE259M serial digital interface (SDI) to an existing DVD player. The connection bypasses the D/A and A/D stages and sends a digital 480i & 576i signal directly into your video processor. The result is a much more detailed picture with richer colors and NO video noise associated with use of analog cables.
Connect the SDI-Video output for example to a DVDO iScan, Rock, Key Digital, Crystallio, Cinemateq, Vigatec, Calibre scaler or any other display / device that has an SDI input.
